To quote a certain 1st Sgt, "Gentlemen it was fuckin outstandin!". Great playing with you all, and hope to meet up again soon!

Mr Pink

I think what made this weekend different, is that it was a roleplay event before it was Milsim. the milsim was merely the 'action' portion. The mixture of storyline, characters, and atmosphere made this weekend... I personally await The Uprising 2010 with baited breath...

I still ache 2 days later but would'nt have wanted to miss it, had a great time Hopefully will have recovered for the next one.
Cheers & all the best
John

I just want to add my thanks to everyone involved in organising and running the event and to everyone who participated (even the civilians ☺ ) and made my first milsim one to remeber , It was a great event and a cracking laugh

All I can say was Fekin Amazin ☺

This event will be with me for the rest of my life as superb, anybody that can top this can do but try.

Steve I love you man (in a manly way that is) and your team are the best. Players on both sides thanks for making my life and the other marshalls involved so easy, players took it all in thier stride all weekend and played a great game xxxxxxxx

On a personal note I am completely knackered and will be for the rest of the week. Although my guys were on the winning team I think the real winners are the charity that we all supported.

To all my new and old friends that I made this weekend ☺ I love you all xxxxxxxx
Taffyjohn has left the building ☺

Thanks to everyone who participated in the weekends gaming. The level of play was incredible. The trip over from Ireland made for long and tiring weekend but the gaming and sportsmanship showed by the players more than made up for that. We will defiitely be back over.

Steve Morris = Legend. Fantastic scenario and organisation. I salute you.

Big thanks to the marshals, pyro guys, admin staff et al. You helped make the game what it was, thoroughly enjoyable.

I loved this event and so did the rest of the NCIS lads. I look forward to more bampot airsoft events in the future, if your up for it Steve.

Marshalls were spot on all weekend, the event couldn't of ran much smoother.

Thanks to admins, staff and the snack van people. You all worked soooo hard and it worked perfectly.

Said it in person but I'll put it on here as well. Genuinely the best weekend of airsoft I've played in a long long long time.

Thanks to everyone involved with the event, the admin staff, marshals, pyro guys, everyone on the civvy forces and not forgetting the enemy. The deserts! My second time at Senny and the experience only got better! (Complete with better weather this time also! ☺ )

Throughly enjoyable weekend, some really intense fights and fantastic laughs. Great sportsmanship and teamwork on both sides!

Cheers guys for a magnificent weekend!

I'm not going to write anything but feckin' HOOAH!

Thanks for the amazing game, in my 7 years of airsofting it was the best by far!
Cheers, Lewis x

Speaking of fish, I sort of covered my thanks in my fish thread http://hollowrock.the-uprising.org/forum/i...p?showtopic=193

But since it bears saying one more time....

UPRISING = OUT-FUCKING-STANDING!
Sgt Ramsay

Just want to add my thanks to all the people involved, was a brilliant weekends airsoft by any standard! saw some very good game play by just about eveyone! I can only really echo the comments made so far.

The command structure i thought held together brilliantly so credit to Alpha 2 who i seemed to be speaking to every few mins either passing info or requesting a task lol.

!st sgt Ramsey, you were great at keeping everybody motivated with that big ol American accent booming out lol, hope to see you at another event soon fella.

Really looking forward to the next one & hope the charity did well out of it..

Thanks.

Going on with what teddykiller said the weekend was amazing so thanks to the organisers and everyone else involved, we'll be comin again no doubt XD me and our guys loved the event so thanks.

Firstly Id like to thank Steve and the Admin team (Sorry I didn't meet all of you individually!) for our amazing weekend! What a smashing MilSim event it was, never have I had such a bloody good weekend of airsofting in my life! Hats off to you wee man ☺

Secondly for my team for the amount of organisation and detail you go into to ensure we (at Manc-AS) have a smooth and enjoyable weekend. Sorting our Transport out, sorting our sleeping arrangements out and ensuring we have awesome organisation! Thanks to Dave, Tim & Graham for everything you did! Without you none of us Manc lot probably couldn't have made the event!

Thirdly, our boys in Hollowrock! What a cracking team and we shouldn't have lost wink.gif No matter what we kept pushing and kept assaulting! We never gave those boys in Gucci Gear a chance to get out of their spawn and when they did it was because we were counting sheep! When someone shouted an order, most of you replied by getting it done! Our command comm's where excellent and clear (when our commanders weren't getting caught) and, as Ive said, we were robbed!

Finally, our opponents! Although you all wear Armarni, hats off to you lads! Never seen such a clean game of Airsoft in a long time! Few and far between did I hear complaints or moans about hit taking or fair play. Several times you were grade A opponents and you made it an awesome weekend! Even when you were getting sh*t from the rioters or having me as a troublesome, offensive prisoner, you kept it clean and nice. Thank you.

REALLY looking forward to my next Milsim event, especially if it has the exact same participants as this one. If so it promises to be another class event! Until next time

All I can do is say more of the same please. Had a fantastic weekend as did all our guys from scotland. A bit of a trek but well worth it. Great site to play on and great players to play with and against. I haven't seen this level of fair play in a game of this size. Was amazing to see the spirit that everyone put into the game.

Huge thanks to Steve and everyone else that had a part to play in making the event what it was.Marshalls did a great job too, always one on hand when needed. Good to see the chronoing taking place all through the weekend as well.

The locals won all the raffle prizes. The dessies won the scenario. But in the end, everyone who attended Uprising won. It was without a doubt the best airsoft game I have ever attended and I dont say that lightly. People have heard me go on at length about Swat's Big Game 2002 and Distant Thunder 2005 (Swynnerton). I helped organise those events and they were designed to be the kind of event I wanted to play in. The kind of event Uprising was. Pure first class airsofting. It wasn't perfect but it was so good that I have written all this so you could see just what fun you missed!

PS: To everyone who attended Uprising, players and staff....I can not thank you enough for giving me an outstanding airsoft experience. You all have my deepest respect and I wish you a happy future of 6mm plastic death! Hoo-ah!
